Automotive Service Technology

Automotive Service Technology I & II program is offered as a two-year course for which four (4) credits can be earned toward graduation.
Year One course consists of learning:
  • introduction to basic automotive services
  • safety
  • tools/technical references
  • brakes
  • introduction to electrical/electronic systems  
Year Two course content consists of learning:
  • advanced electrical/electronic systems
  • steering and suspension
  • engine performance
Safety is an integral part of every course and activity. A student must complete both courses to be a completer of the program.
